We recommend wearing comfortable, seasonal clothing that is weather appropriate along with comfortable closed-toe walking shoes. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a bottle of water are also recommended. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. For those wishing to visit any churches, remember that shoulders and knees must be covered. If you want to swim during free time, please bring your own towel and swimwear.
Restrictions
Minimum age to participate in this tour is 8 years. Guests must be able to get in and out of all transportation. This tour involves a 3 hour hike, from Manarola to Corniglia, and covers multiple surfaces. Consider that the maximum height is 1000 ft and the climb is very steep. Guests should be in good physical shape in order to participate. Your walk with your escort from the Cruise Terminal to the train station is approximately 20 minutes. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that we will need at checkout all first and last names of each guest booked on this tour in order to purchase train tickets. Kindly take note that this tour ends at La Spezia Centrale Train Station, in the vicinity of the Port. Your escort will direct you back to the ship. The given order of the visits may change. This tour may be conducted in both Spanish and English, if requested. In case of unexpected path closure another route will be taken. Please note that the trails to hike are hard but not impossible. Since the beauty of the area lies in its nature, you won't find handrails or safety rails even when the steps formed by the rocks of the mountain are inclined or when the path is near to the edge of the cliff

These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world.
